Provides connection for hands-free headset and standard handset on business desk phones.

Amplifies incoming voices up to 170 times (+45dB), so you hear every word with unmatched clarity.

Selectable Digital Tone Enhancement allows you to boost and enrich the speech frequencies you can’t hear well, making difficult to hear words intelligible again. There is also an Automatic Gain Control function that helps to optimize sound level for superior listening comfort.

Latest Digital Sound Processing technology eliminates virtually all distortion, echo effects and unwanted static commonly found in other ordinary amplifiers.

Works with virtually all business telephones and headsets: it connects between phone’s handset/headset and base. The UA-50 has a 7 position compatibility selector (most Telstra configured telephones use position 4).

It is NOT compatible with cordless telephones.

Easy headset/handset selection button for extra convenience.

Please note that if the telephone is connected to a PABX system, and the phone has an LCD display panel or similar, the UA-50 may not turn off when the handset is hung up.

This is because the display data signal transmission is seen on the audio lines and prevents the amplifier from automatically turning off. You will need to use an AC adaptor instead of the battery.

With the increased electrical drive to the telephone earpiece, there is also an increase in the inductive field strength for telecoil users.
