The portable CentralAlert Remote Receiver (CA-RX) keeps you informed when you are away from the CentralAlert Master Unit. It alerts you to all the same sounds and activities monitored by the CentralAlert system so you will never miss anything anywhere in your home. You can use up to 10 CA-RX units in the one CentralAlert system.
The Remote Receiver can be used as an additional receiver in a CentralAlert System or it can be used independently with any of the CentralAlert detectors (sold separately).

When the Remote Receiver is used with a CentralAlert Master unit as a 'Slave', the SOS alerting function is two-way. When someone presses the SOS button on either the Master or Slave receiver, the person with the other receiver can press their respective 'Reset Button' and the SOS alert will cancel. This way, the person that sent the SOS alert will know that the person at the other end has responded.
As this is a component of a vibro-tactile alerting system for persons with hearing impairment, the price is GST Free.
